Purchase 1.25 acres of raw land in the popular Plaza Midwood neighborhood, subdivide into six prime buildable lots, and build six custom Craftsman homes between 2300-3200 SF with modern amenities and 2-car detached garages. Negotiated through a 5-month estate sale to acquire the land from 13 family members, some of whom would not give consent if specific other family members were to receive any profits. Other family members were so remote and disengaged, acquiring consent and signatures required personal couriers to travel to the most remote regions.
The project from land acquisition to final sale of last home took two years. Three different brokers represented us throughout the transaction. We used existing house plans for three of the six homes that were very popular in the past and worked with designers to create three new floorplans.
